Name | Operating concept of wearables at the wrist |
Context | Wearable IT |
Performance change of the target group | Taxonomy |
Problem | An increasing number of wearables are carried around the wrist. Associated therewith interaction concepts have to be appropriate for the wearing position. |
Place of action | Mobile, wearable |
Solution approach | Operating elements should be placed on the case. If they are placed sideward, as in the case of a watch, the wearable can only partially be worn on both wrists and the probability that the operating element is unintentionally activated by the clothing increases. |

Limitations | A touchscreen interaction is not considered. |
